Ed Murray Racing is the Authorised Distributor of ROTAX kart products in South Africa. Ed Murray Racing is based at Zwartkops International Kart Circuit and host a karting showroom, spares shop and workshop. From this premises we offer a complete service including sales of new and used karts, parts, full kart preparation, kart storage, engine servicing and race support.
Ed Murray Racing was started in the early 90's. The facilities offered at Ed Murray Racing include a large workshop including an engine building room, dyno and kart storage area. Our showroom displays ROTAX engines and CRG chassis, clothing, helmets, race wear, timing equipment and all the karting spares and accessories you could need. Race support is offered in various packages from basic advice right up to arrive and drive.

Ed's racing career started in Stocks (100cc) in 1971 and by 1972 he was already Runner Up in the South African National Championship. Ed took the lessons learned in the super-competitive Stocks class, and applied them to 100cc Supers and 125's with great effect, winning no less than 8 National Championship titles! - For his achievements and dedication to karting, Ed was awarded Springbok Colours.

In more than three decades of karting, Ed Murray Racing has produced a number of prominent International, South African National and Regional Champions - Ed himself has earned a plethora of National Championship titles and has gained valuable experience from time spent competing in the World Championship series against the likes of Ayrton Senna.Used Karts Available
Ed Murray Racing trade in karts from their racing customers. The karts are checked over to ensure all is in working order. Karts bought from Ed Murray Racing have a three month limited warrantee for any mechanical failures. This warranty excludes crash damage, forgetting to check the radiator is full or mixing oil into fuel.
