CT 37 WESLEIGH ORRSaturday’s third round of the WP karting championship went down in perfect conditions at Killarney with the racing as usual providing its fair share of dicing and drama.
Nowhere were either of those two elements as ever present as in the tough high school Junior Max 125cc races, where Henry Bam (SAKRA RKT Kosmic) extended his championship lead with a pair of wins over Delano Fowler (Suprocom TonyKart), the most impressive Dino Stermin (Designer Trims Zanardi) and race 3 winner Kohen Bam (SAKRA RKT Kosmic). Behind them the ever-improving Giordano Lupini (La Vie de Luc/AutoWeek Zanardi) fought off a determined Sebastian Boyd (Boyd Boss freight Kosmic) and promising SA Kart Racing Academy development driver Chadley Swartz (Zanardi) in an entertaining day ‘s dicing.

RMCGF Country FlagsGunskirchen, Austria, April 16, 2014 – BRP will celebrate the 15 th anniversary of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) at Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero in Valencia, Spain from November 25 to 29, 2014.

“We are proud to celebrate the 15 th anniversary of the RMCGF, especially in Spain as it will be our first time on the Spanish mainland,” said François Tremblay, marketing director, Rotax kart engines, BRP. “We hope to attract a broad audience thanks to the region’s history of motorsports racing.”

Circuito Kartodromo ValenciaValencia is not only famous for its historic monuments, views and cultural attractions, it is also known for its motorsport events like the Formula One Grand Prix and the motorcycle Grand Prix. Close to 300 qualified Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals racers, coming from over 50 countries, will feel the spirit of racing in Valencia’s Kartodromo Internacional LucasGuerrero.

DD2 victor Eugene BrittzRound One of the 2014 SA Rotax Max Challenge Karting Championships in Port Elizabeth at the weekend signalled a huge up-swing in karting’s premier formula. No less than 25 karts scored points in the super-quick Rotax DD2 Gearbox class, with nail-biting racing in all three races counting towards Round One of the four-round SA champs for 2014.

When the dust settled after the final bend in race three it was the experienced Eugene Brittz who won the day, his win in heat one and second place in heat two being capped by a somewhat surprising race three victory after his two closest rivals went farming in the closing stages of race three on the tight Celso Scribante circuit.
