This weekend’s race has been moved to Mother’s Day. The event will be a relaxed and shortened race day, featuring the Mothers Day Grand Prix. Entry for the mother’s races can be done on the spur of the moment at the EMR counter on a first come first served basis. Special awards will be given for the winners of each race, as well as for the fastest and slowest time.

The program for the racing karts will consist of a warmup and starting positions for Heat 1 will be drawn from a hat. Heat 2 will be a reverse grid of the original grid, and the final will be started based on points scored in Heat 1 and 2. It is important to drive carefully and finish the heats if you want a decent final grid position and to win the day!

Rand Kart Club have moved the scheduled club race at Zwartkops to Sunday, 14 May 2023, due to MSA’s concerns that this event would detract from the MSA Regional race day at FK on Saturday. We sincerely regret that this impacts on Mother’s Day but hope that this special event will make up for it!
