The fourth round of the Gauteng Northern Regions Max Karting meeting at Zwartkops witnessed a thrilling display of Rotax Max racing, with multiple winners emerging in almost all classes, except one.

In the DD2 category, Kian Grottis emerged victorious after a hard-fought battle against Nicky Vostanis, winning two heats out of three. Meanwhile, Dusan Radojevic secured a single second-place finish, enabling him to clinch the third position overall. Kyle Lawrence, the Masters winner, managed to secure a couple of third-place finishes throughout the day. Bradley Liebenberg led the pack, with Tiaan Eloff close behind. Llewellyn Sutherland, the second Masters participant, finished ahead of James Carter, Ming Ma, and Oliver Ehlers, who rounded off the top ten. In the DD2 Vets class, Philipe Chapat emerged as the winner.

The Senior Max category saw an intense battle between Muhammad Wally and KC Ensor-Smith. Wally triumphed in the opening heat, but Ensor-Smith retaliated by winning the second and third races, ultimately securing the overall victory. Olerato Sekudu managed to hold off Roshaan Goodman and Ethan Bostander to secure third place. Liam Polome, Mikel Bezuidenhout, and Brandon Van der Walt followed closely behind.

In the high school Junior Max category, Wian Boshoff outperformed Kent Swartz, winning two out of three heats. Jonno Wilson secured third place, with Mauro Da Luz, Georgia Lenaerts, Amani Kinyua, Gianna Pascoal, and Torben Roos completing the top eight.

Caleb Odendaal dominated the Under-13 Mini Max class, winning all of his races. Kegan Martin, Spice Mailula, and Taylin Patel engaged in intense battles, finishing closely behind Odendaal. Durelle Goodman secured fifth place, edging out Emma Dowling, Franco Gibhard, and Jesse Swart.

In the under-11 Micro Max category, Rafael Da Silva faced tough competition from race 1 winner Ronaldo Koen but managed to fight back and win the second and third races, securing the overall victory. Matthew Shuttleworth, Brodi Dowling, Cristian Verheul, Johan Nolte, Rafael De Sousa, and Alessio Britz followed closely behind.

In the baby Bambino category, Adriaan Steyn emerged as the winner, triumphing over Luhan De Wet with two race victories. Luke du Toit finished in third place, followed by Ronald Venter, Aston Verheul, Lwashu Mathebula, Alonzo De Oliveira, and Sebastien Shuttleworth.
