It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Jan Hartzer last night.
Well known in motor sporting circles, Jan took a special interest in kart racing and he became part of the Rotax karting family both locally and internationally.
Jan attended almost all of the Rotax Max World finals since 2000 and covered the South African teams efforts and successes. Locally he filmed and produced videos of the SA Rotax Max Challenge Series events around the country and was well known and loved by karters and their families.
We will miss him sorely.
